I believe in the 60's Alabama passed Tennessee and the top winning program in the SEC. Alabama has maintained that advantage since then

When you say team that is inclusive of all sports is it not? I'll give you football, but when was the last track and field, baseball, girl's basketball, beach volleyball, etc. etc. championship that Alabama won?

The Shula years were quite wobbly. Saban was your saving grace. You could have been stuck with Rodriguez or Roll Tide Mike

Rich Rod told them he couldn't come because a divorce child custody situation. Gumps lucked out there and when the Dolphins told Saban they weren't going to sign Drew Brees because of a failed physical.

Non-trolling answer:
I was a pre-teen in 2011, the first year I started watching football.

We can agree that more fans are passionate about football, and that's understandable. However, claiming to be the top program in the entire SEC is simply not accurate. If your focus is solely on football, you might as well cheer for the NFL. A true college fan would be invested in the overall success of the school, not just one sport.
Every sport has its own set of challenges, and in my opinion, baseball is actually more difficult than football.
The beauty of being an LSU fan is that we excel in multiple sports. We've won national championships in four different sports recently, so I don't have to wait for football season to enjoy watching my Tigers. If you're only interested in football, you're more of a football fan than an Alabama fan, and that's fine. But claiming to be the top program of all time in the SEC is absolutely absurd.

I never claimed that Alabama was the top overall program in the SEC. I did however provide proof, based on season and tournament championships, that Alabama is a top three all time SEC program in not just football, but also baseball, men’s basketball, softball, and gymnastics. Maybe you missed that post.
And beyond those sports, most fans do not care.
The rankings you provided put just as much weight on a water polo national championship as a football or men’s basketball championship. And that just isn’t how things are in the real world.

Realized Bama has been cheating since The Bear was a cheat and a drunk.

"How old were you when you realized Alabama was the top program all-time in the SEC?" It's in your title.
quote:You are cherry picking SEC tournament titles, not National Championships, anyone can do that. This is a straight up lie. It depends on the metric in which you are comparing. Only one of these is true, and it's gymnastics. You have one in softball, that's it. You can't cherry pick to how it suits you and trying to spin your narrative, that bullshite doesn't fly.

Just because you as a person doesn't feel that way, doesn't make it any less true. National Championship is a National Championship whether you care about it or not, and your view doesn't make it any less great for the people who compete in these sports and dedicate their lives to it.
