I have an eye for talent evaluators, and I don't get that vibe from you.
Enroll in a JuCo, will evaluate again...

What a clever retort. I don't know how I'll ever get over Bama losing that game. Maybe a trip to the BCSNCG will help ease my intense pain.
its only gonna get worse for you on the 9th.

people really need to stop acting like AJ is a good QB or something.
really, the guy stands there and hands off to RBs that average 8 yards a touch, completes screens and dumpoffs, and is good for 2 passes of 10 yards or more a game, one of which will likely be a flea flicker, fake punt, or to a wide open TE.
He is the defenition of mediocrity.
Lee and Jefferson could both easily match what he does in Bama's offense.
Mett, on the other hand, is gonna be a baller.
It may surprise you to learn that A.J. McCarron was a more highly rated recruit than Zach Mettenburger coming out of high school.
To date, I would say that A.J. has accomplished more than ZM in terms of QB play.
ZM may be a Heisman trophy candidate next year, but he couldn't beat out JJ this season.

At the beginning of the year, I looked at next year as a down year. But, as this year has progressed, and some of the juniors have announced they'll return, next year is looking better and better.
If Barrett Jones returns, the offensive line will be nasty. Even without him, it will be very good.
Defensively, we're losing more. We lose Upshaw and Hightower. I actually think Upshaw is the bigger loss there. Chapman is gone, but he's been more of a role player, albeit a good one. We lose Menzie. IF Lester and Dre came back (I think Dre is 90% gone) the defense would be great again next year. If not, we'll probably have to settle for second best defense in the SEC.

well shite, I guess AJ is better then.

prolly so considering Mett has barely played at LSU. Does that mean he isn't talented or he isn't gonna be a good QB?

Your right, Mett isn't half the QB JJ is.

Maybe Saban should hire you to be the special teams coach. You know, since you're such a great talent evaluator.

I posted three unequivocal facts. McCarron was a higher rated recruit. Some services listed McCarron as the #4-7 pro style QB, with ZM rated #9-11. Both were listed behind Barkley, Aaron Murray, and Garrick Gilbert (thus proving what a crap shoot these things are).
Thru his redshirt soph year, McCarron has lead his team to 11 wins and a #2 national ranking, throwing 16 TDs and 5 ints. ZM has thru 3 years, left a team after being charged with a crime, played juco, and made 3rd team QB at LSU. He is slightly behind AJ at this point in his career.
He has failed to displace either of 2 senior QBs who are the most loathed in recent history.
I did not express any opinion about ZM's abilities or talents nor have I belittled his accomplishments thru 3 years.
ZM could win the Heisman in 2012, as he will certainly be on a championship contending team with talented offensive weapons. But he hasn't peed a drop, yet.

It doesn't take much to realize Mett is gonna be better than AJ. I'm sure after a couple games next year, most CFB fans will be able to see the large gap between the two.
I dont think me and Saban would see eye to eye though.

Or like Greg McElroy, A.J will make a big jump between years 1 and 2 as a starter.

Again, this is based on pure speculation that isn't supported by evidence and your "eye for talent"

Bama is so scared LSU is about to have a real QB.
Just keep praying Mett cant live up to the lofty expectations AJ has set for SECWest QBs for years to come.

John Brantley was going to improve the Gators' passing game post-Tebow, too.

Yes, I'm absolutely terrified of an unproven QB that couldn't even push for playing time against your current QBs.

Where has anyone claimed that AJ is a great QB?
