And if Jalen Brewster told Lane Kiffin he wanted #9, this afternoon, he would be promised #9 to keep him committed to LSU.
What’s getting lost in all of this is that Pickett, a freshman All American, was flirting with entering the transfer portal, and he needed 5 to stay, no matter how dumb a lot of us think that is.

I’m going to disagree with you on this point. As a season ticket holder, we’ve made all but two home games since he left. In my experience, so few people wear his jersey that it’s shocking when I do see someone wearing his and not a Burrow jersey.
