Now we know why they did not allow tailgating. It is truly a money grab by the NCAA.
SEC Championship, playoff game, then the Natty. Big big bucks to run the table.

ETA- And I'm calling bullshite on the OP.

You forgot about the 6% California sales tax, the 9.5% Los Angeles Sales tax, 1% Los Angeles County tax and the .25% Special event tax.

Probably wont get to $85, but SoFi does jack up their standard prices during special events. Friends had told me that the beer prices were over $20 at the Superbowl last year. Not sure if that was for a microbrew kind of thing though and not your standard Bud or Miller.

Seriously, frick California.

Heinz Field, sorry Acrisure Stadium is a ripoff in comparison to other equally sized markets. Especially considering that at MetLife in New York a beer is $5 and a Hit Dog is $3.

Locals have for some reason granted the Rooney family near sainthood, but they've always been greedy fricks.

As someone who bought a lot of beer at the game, I’ll tell you his prices are wrong

On top of that the beers were 25 oz so it’s a little misleading to make it seem like it’s a normal beer.
