Take away Bama's 'fake' titles and 8 are still legit. Okie lite...not so much. Saying the gumps didn't have a dynasty under Bryant and maybe another under Saban speaks to your ignorance. Ditto LSU baseball in the 90's. Hopefully you have been enlightened.

You're going to have to support your argument better. That was in a juiced ball and PED era, LSU hasn't done squat since the deadened bats and only won once since Bertman gave up the HC job.
It was a good decade no denying that, but I'm looking for a longer sustained period of dominance, LSU's first CWS appearance was only in 1986.

I'd come close to awarding Bama and Bear Bryant Dynasty status if it wasn't for all the bogus titles they claim. If you can't be honest about what you've won, you sure can't be honest about what you've lost and just running a program in general. Bama football is almost a farce upon itself.
Bryant's BAMA teams in the 60's and the 70's were probably two separate dynasties. And Saban got one going now, the only argument is how long of a dynasty it will be.
But nice flame though.

Everything from the Juiced ball, Gorilla Bats, Steroid era is scrutinized as tainted. Warranted or not.

Right weisenheimer, like all the teams didn't have similar sized ballers, and all doing the same things. Like they weren't teammates in summerball up in the Cape,etc..
And, LSU wins a title, then the rest of the nation gets a title the following year, alternating for a damn decade, is a dynasty..
Time for Arky to go get another Cross Country guy from USL, or a Hoops HC from Tulsa..hardware in the hills hard to come by!

want to know a secret, a little devil inside of me tends to root for LSU baseball even when y'all play Arkansas because I just like the style of ball you guys play and the make up of your teams better than DVH's.
I'm willing to give LSU baseball the Dynasty tag when you consider how once they got in the CWS in '86; there's really been no keeping them out.
However, you do have to admit that the steroids issue and the rule changes to limit the kind of baseball you guys won with does lessen those titles a tad in the court of public opinion, especially outside of the Bayou.

And outside of USCe, name another school that the NCAA's heavyhanded baseball rules changes didn't water down and parity up the landscape?
Don't say Horns, Beavers, Titans, Owls, or Heels!
Hooray..hurrah for uber small ball..yawn!

I say the reason for parity in college baseball is the fact that LSU had a dynasty. They were successful on the field and at the gate. It showed the rest of the NCAA that baseball could be a moneymaker. The change to small ball isn't why others have caught LSU, it's greed and the need to fund Title IX.
