Texas has more money than most of the SEC schools combined. Thats a fact. If they want him, they will get him. plus don't fool yourself, Austin is light years better than tuscaloosa

If you had asked me two months ago, I would have said with confidence that he would leave in the next couple of years. After watching him in the Iron Bowl and BCSCG, I'd say he's there until he retires, however long that may be. He seems happy for the first time in his coaching career.

What do you really think Texas is going to offer him money wise?

I'd be glad if he stayed through his contract. The only thing that is keeping him from the lake is his fire. As soon as it's gone, so shall he.

Texas isn't going to offer more than 10 million, and Alabama has the money to match that.

if they were to offer him I would say 10 million a year and that's a drop in the bucket for Texas.

Can Texas outpay Bama for him? Yes.

Can Bama keep up long enough to drive it up to a ridiculous price? Yes.

We would match 10 in a heartbeat.

Basically Magilla said what I was going to say. Sure they have deeper pockets (and I'm not arguing Tuscaloosa> Austin) but they would have to take the offer up to something ridiculous. Could they? Yes. Will they?

Is this one of those times that I get to be all pissed off because you gave your opinion?

Texas could blow Alabama out of the water with money.

I realize that, but again Texas isn't going to offer something rediculous like that. They have a hard enough time selling Mack Brown's contract to the academic community. And it's not as if Coach Saban isn't aware enough of his perception to jump head first into something like that, just for the money. He has plenty of that and stability of Alabama. Face it. He's staying at Alabama.

Again, Texas has a hard enough time selling Mack Brown's contract to their academic community. They're not going to offer some ridiculous number to prove how much money they have. Regardless, I stated that Alabama could match that number. I never said they would outbid anyone. However, he's not going anywhere you little twerp.
