And Auburn fans were pissed. CPA was supposed to become an LSU fan.

It's obvious Auburn beating Bama 28-27 at Bama after leading 24-0 has created new levels of anxiety for Tide Fans. And then losing their NC to Auburn I guess has been too much for Bama Fans to stomach.

I'm just not sure that I understand why people act like this is the biggest thing in the world.
Sure, I hate like hell that 24 points was not enough, but didn't Auburn jump out to a 21(now remember that's only 3 points less) lead over Bama last year and led for 58 minutes, and we came back to win by 5, and they came back from 24 to win by 1 and that was with a paid professional player............1 damn point...don't act like it was such a beatdown.

I don't see how these fans can continue to live in the same state. Is there any talk of Alabama State Government funded Wall being built to separate the 2 fan bases?
There was talk about letting the state of Georgia annex Lee County, but the plan was scrapped when research showed that upon completion of said plan the average IQ of both states would go down.

The war is getting more intense. Alabama had a lot of suffering since Bear (except during the Stallings early years through 1992), with coaches, scandals, probations (4 in 14), losing 6 in a row, etc... They laughed when 5-19 was hired. They thought Auburn had thrown in the towel. Many Bama fans feel that Auburn has taken something from them.

Two years of coaching does not prove anything. Larry Coker and Les Miles have a championship ring. Chizik's legacy begins now. If he does not at least when another two SEC championships that year will just go down as a fluke that everything fell into place. If he builds the program up then he will just have that to add to his legacy.
But this years championship does not mean anything except TT left some solid players and Cam plus Nick put the team over the top.

You beat us twice in 9 years. What makes you think next year will be any different?

It wasn't OUR NC this year. Has it been hard to stomach a loss when you spot them 24 points and you have the defense 'Bama does. Yea, sure.

I mean looking on our schedule of all the opponents having bye weeks, being reigning SEC/NC champions, and rebuilding an entire defense. We should have known that losing 3 games was coming. I thought we'd lose two games (LSU, maybe Ark/USC)
We lucked out against Arkansas. If they had Knile Davis then . . we have had lost that game. So it works it's way out.

The fact that you're losing your entire offensive line, your Heisman-winning quarterback, best defensive lineman by far, best wide receiver...oh, I don't know. I mean, you were already a one man team this year, and you lost that one man, so...

Also, previous years have no impact on a future game. So don't use stupid logic like that again. K thx.

So you wont be using previous NC's and tradition to validate the Bama program moving forward?

yet you named several others leaving as why we will lose...hmmm I am confused

if you really felt we were a one man team why not just say AU is losing Cam Newton, period?

Damn son. You've been reaching hard today. Tradition and Winning history does validate a team. However, It doesn't affect who wins or loses games in the future. It does help talent come in tho.

ETA: When I say team I just mean overall institution not an actual team such as 2014 'Bama.

I know you aren't very intelligent, but surely even you can see the difference in these two arguments. Namely, predicting the outcome of a "future game" does not equal "validating an entire program."

Because I was one step ahead of you and knew that Auburn fans would be up in arms talking about Nick Fairley, Darvin Adams, etc. if I did. So I went ahead and mentioned them to preclude that argument.

So previous outcomes do effect future outcomes?

Which is it?

But if you feel you are right why be influenced by what others might reply with. Put yourself out there and stand behind what you feel what others think be damned.

At the beginning of the 2010 season, were you certain that you would beat us then? What makes it any different this year? Not bashing. Just trying to understand your logic

They will never admit to this.

I don't agree. Yes, it kills me that we were beat by Auburn after a 24-0 lead. But losing our NC to Auburn isn't too much for me to stomach - I am happy for them! They had a great season this year and they are well deserving of the NC!

This But regardless of what happened in the past...it's the past. They won a NC and there's nothing we can do about that, so everyone needs to just accept it and move on!

To anyone thinking there is something that we can do about it (such as their wins being vacated) needs to reevaluate..because even if that DID happen - everyone will always know who won on the field! And as much as I believe that Cam did get paid - he still proved himself to be the best player in CFB this year so I agree in that this hatred is getting way out of control.

Trust me, I will never be an Auburn fan - but I am at least willing to acknowledge they had a great season.

Because you had serious depth concerns in 2010 and an unproven QB/Head Coach. That is why I thought 'Bama would beat Auburn although they were reloading on defense.

This year the depth concerns are still there. You will have to fill a ton of senior leadership with freshmen and behind those freshmen there isn't that many people there yet. Do I think Chizik can fix that, yes. However, In my opinion Auburn will have a tough time next year. Especially since they will have the biggest target on their backs.
