I'm not saying BP isn't a great coach. I think he is.,but his off the field stories have been negative.

I'm happy to have Petrino. Anybody who saw him eulogize Garrett Uekman at the vigil knows what kind of a man he is.

I'm sure it was heart felt but come on. Was he gonna be a dickhead at a funeral?im sure 98% of eulogies paint the person saying them in good light.

He would be at UF right now except that he likes Arky too much.

Petrino is a top 10 coach in the country regarless of Program...

He can stay as long as he wants...I'll be surprised if he ever leaves for a blue-blood school to be honest...

Y'all damn sure know how to make a man and his family's life miserable. Flyin banners over the stadium to humiliate the HC is a great way to make him bolt.

There is nothing to back up this claim. He has won no major titles. While I think he is a top 10 offensive mind, he is not a top 10 coach at ANY program. He doesn't recruit well enough.

Southern Cal, The Chicago Bulls, The New England Patriots and The Bolivian Polo Team have all offered BP a job

Still can't believe he turned the Bolivian Polo Team down. That one was surprising to say the least.

Would you care to share those with us? If you are thinking of his leaving the Falcons, be sure to get the WHOLE story, and also if you are thinking of Auburn courting him while Tubbs was still the coach - who instigated that? Was it Petrino? Or some Auburn booster?

Those are 6 without even giving it much thought. I think Petrino could be a top5-10 coach if the program he goes to has a built in recruiting advantages.

I'm not saying he isn't a great coach, but 2 years of not even winning your division doesn't make him elite. He definately has Ark going in the right direction and When teams see Ark on their schedule, they know they are playing a well coached team. But, he hasn't reached top 5-10 yet. I do think he is right outside top 10.
