Miles is a great coach and he has some big crystals balls to prove it. I'm going wait and see if Oregon deserved to be ranked in the top 20. They did not look all that great to me. Is that because of LSU or PAC 12 hype?

The ducks were no match along the LOS. I think Bama,Ark,MSU and Florida will match up a little better.

I think the only thing that keeps Miles out of the elite talk are the clock management issues and shite like that.

clock managment excuse is pure BS. Every single coach out there does it.

It's the way he talks and you know it.

we actually match up better with these teams. Lsu and chavis will always do better against a traditional set. Good thing for us he set a goal during the off season to be conditioned for oregon and to stop the spread (which over half the teams we play this year do)

keep reaching though

It's about as ridiculous as saying that since LSU played a marquee game while everyone else played cupcakes, they're the only team worth a frick in the entire conference.

An avg. Auburn Defense shut down a better Oregon Offense last year. Oregon would be middle of the pack SEC, at best.

I wasn't impressed with Oregon. You don't get dominated on the oline like that unless you have real problems.

frick it i'm sick of arguing, Miles is the greatest coach to ever graze the LSU sideline. Probably going to win the next 123213 games he coaches in a row.

We don't need anyone's validation to let us know that Miles is an elite coach.

If he was mentioned as a media darling Nick Saban type coach, it might jinx his mojo and flip the voodoo magic he's got on his side ..

Plus it's more fun poking fun at him.. I don't think he minds, he seems to enjoy his awkward eclectic label.

I don't think it is much of a reach.

I was reading a Oregon website that boasted the starting left tackle and right guard bench-pressed 365 pounds. In the SEC most running backs bench over 400. It does seem like they with match up with a team that recruits some of the best 300+ pound D-lineman in the country. They did'nt LSU set up shop in there backfield all night.

The duck defensive line averages 279 across the board. The biggest player is 6-4 318, also the only player over 300.

Their defensive ends avg about 240 and their insde linebackers avg 220.

Defensively they have recruited to stop the spread and use their speed on the edges. I would say their lack of size had something to do with LSU being able to run up the middle for 8-10 yards at a time.

Bigger question is why does Petrino get the accolades that he gets when he still hasn't won shite yet like Miles, Saban, Spurrier. I would put Miles record against Petrino's any day. Miles is much better. I would lke to have seen Petrino handle the off field issues like Katrina, Rita, Oil Spill, and the bar fight with the integrity of Miles and yet have his team play lights out for HIM. Ask the " Little Ball of hate" who he would rather play for. Screw you Arkansas trolls. Win something before you bring your crap on here.

They dont have to say it, Les is the most intresting coach in the world. When he shakes hands at midfield, other coaches put it on their resume... Remember these from last year?

I don't believe anyone mentioned Petrino. Since you brought it up. How would Miles do at Arkansas with our shitty recriting base? Would he do better than Petrino?

If I could pick a coach to play for, it'd be Miles.
