Emmitt Smith was in HS the last time UK beat Florida.

Or to put it in terms a UK fan might understand, Coach Cal had just taken his second assistant Coaching job (no word on whether he was forced out of his first with NCAA on his heels).

Personally I don't like to have my head coach acting like a crazed lunatic on the sidelines, but to each his own.

It does seem strange for a coach to discipline an emotional outburst by having an emotional outburst.

Team has lost 28 years in a row. Still talks shite!
Looks at last year's roster, or any roster other than this year's, to validate argument that Florida will win Saturday. Let me know what to expect from Emmit and Tebow Saturday.

So Donovan was still playing for Pitino at Providence, and Florida still only had the O'Dome a quarter full? Got it.

We had Jeff Driskel last year

I don't know what will happen on Saturday, but I know not to talk shite when you shouldn't.

Exactly. People are applauding Mac for doing the same thing KT did. Acting like an idiot.

I do think the praise is a bit much given that 4 years ago we heard the same stupid crap from Boom and as time went on people began to see that it was dumb.

We beat you with Muschamp and Driskel. Why would we need Tebow? You suck that badly..

Is this guy really running his mouth? Dude...longest streak in the nation. Your program is the definition of pathetic. You can run off at the mouth when your team accomplishes.....anything.

Completely overreacted. It was not blatent and the kid was humble about it.

No need to embarrass the kid.Saban or Meyer would not have done in public.

Throat slash is throat slash and it needed to be addressed. What some of you dont know is that McElwain went off at the post game presser....I mean he was livid....not so much about Taylor...but that 30 players came to team meeting and didnt have ankles taped and they had the lackadaisical attitude. McElwain was hired to win games and he obviously doesnt like losing. It was a combination of how the players acted all week that aggravated him...."the entitlement" that some of the players think they deserve.

Im glad as hell he went off and showed the team he isnt going to stand for stupid flags and hurting your team. I prefer guys like Jarrad Davis who did the RIGHT thing in tackling Alex MacCallister after the ball came out. He would have fell down himself had he gotten the ball.

Theres more to what happened than just Taylor. We should have blown the doors off ECU....but players read their press clippings and think all they gotta do is show up. Look at Arkansas...I betcha Bert wishes he had of went off on his team before the game and gave them a reality check.

UF has a very good coach who knows offense and he is going to have the O ready to play UK. Watch for Taylor to run harder than ever...and his team will play much harder and maybe we can beat UK.

I think the man embarrassed himself and UF by coming of like a psychotic mental midget. As an LSU fan I'm familiar with feeling embarrassed at times with our HC but this was on a whole other level.
Watching him scream at his player to "be a man" while conducting himself like a 8th grade bully was completely pathetic. Seems very low character and a perfect fit for UF.

Since when has screaming been bully behavior and low character? Could he have dialed it back? Absolutely. But it isn't that big of a deal.

He publicly embarrasses the kid and he may have lost a few future recruits he was banking on for the future,if he is a keeper your football future isn't !

I don't give him a shite about him yelling, I just don't think it's very effective or sets a good example for his players.

OMG this whole "publicly embarrassing" shite you pussies are ranting on about, jesus christ.

We've ruined an entire generation by telling them they are special little snowflakes whose feelings and self esteem are the most important things in the world.

fricking man-babies.

BTW...it was announced that Taylor is now third string at RB....we have two great looking frosh RBs waiting for their chance, Scarlett and Kronkite. Taylor has not really used his God given abilities and put forth the 110% effort. I know Ive watched Taylor for 3 yrs and wondered when he was going to bust out. He better do it the next few times he has the chance.

If some of you wussies dont like yelling and screaming..I think badminton might be your sport. WTF. Go back to the 1950s and early 1960s and you didnt dare do a throat slash or you would be riding the pine a long time. We have gotten so fricking spoiled.

Check your man purses when signing on to the rant.

It's not a generational thing. Most men are weak. Including those calling other men "pussies". Few people get the chance to really test their mettle. And being yelled at or playing a sport doesn't mean you aren't weak.
