I never said it was.
I was proud for Auburn's 9 decades of dominance.

You should be proud of that.
I learned something new today.

You have been fed some bad intel

quote:

The NCAA has officially recognized the Golden Knights’ claim to the championship, adding them to the updated version of the NCAA Football Records Book.

LINK

If you would have scrolled through the NCAA link I provided, you would have seen this.......

quote:

2017 Alabama: College Football Playoff, AP, FW-NFF, USA Today

+UCF: Colley

in other words......the NCAA does recognize UCF as co-champ for the 2017 season

link, again. scroll to "Final National Poll Leader"

So every article states that the NCAA has recognized UCF as co-champ, but they are all wrong?

LINK

ETA not only has bama inflated their number of NC's, they are now trying to steal other rightfully "claimed" NC's from other schools.

Somebody younger than me post the Simpson's show bully saying "Ha ha!" gif...I do agree most schools in the SEC didn't get to choose.

lAst chance U is a 3rd rate cow college that has never won anything when they weren’t cheating. The NCAA is keeping close tabs since the Lowder/McGregor/$cam scandal, so lAst chance U is right back where it belongs, currently without the ability to cheat.

These kind of post remind me of the gift Cam Newton was to the world...

So the book you are citing for UCF's national title also lists every one of Alabama's claimed national titles which means you also accept them.

I am showing the hypocrisy of using the NCAA site to validate a "claim" of a NC.

I see what you were saying now. My bad. If you are not on this list you did not win a national title. Period

That list doesn't have UCF as co-champ.........so yes, it's meaningless.

AP, UPI, BCS, Playoff System are the only legit NC's.

ETA and many of those can be questioned. It's a beauty contest. That's all it has ever been.

Dude, we can just start counting from 2009 and it’s 5-1. Forget Bryant and Stallings and the poll era if you want. Auburn is M E D I O C R E. It is documented for you.

Since 1930, when Alabama first started playing 10 games a season regularly, Alabama has averaged 10 wins a season.
Math isn't your long suit, is it?

Discounting 1943-44 (only 7 games in '43, no team in '44), From 1930 to 2018 is 87 seasons.

Even adding back in the 29 on-the-field victories that were forfeited/vacated for major NCAA violations (and excluding their 5-2 record in '43), Bama has a total of 751 victories.

751 / 87 = 8.63 wins per season.

How in hell did you get "10 wins a season" out of that?

By definition, any program that has won a BCS Championship cannot be defined as 'mediocre'.

Are we on Bama's level? Of course not. NO other program is.

But I can assure you that there are at least 110 other FBS programs that would love to be as 'mediocre' as we have been over the past decade.
