I agree with you that neither Troy nor Ed "are can cover." That's why they're playing safety and not CB. And that's why comparing Mathieu (CB) to them (safeties) doesn't make a lot of sense when arguing that he should have been first team CB.

Menzie is very good. And most years would probably 100% deserve it. Mattieu should have got it based on stats alone. Plus he makes huge plays when his team really needs them. But don't be mad at Menzie or anything having to do with Alabama besides fans that bash TM7.

No he doesn't. We just showed our 4th CB has stats just as good as Menzie. He's played a good bit since Auburn. Not much before that.
