Atlanta united won a title last year and Braves won a title in 95. This post is invalid..btw isnt the sec title considered a postseason as well??? 28-7

That is a question this long suffering late middle aged dude has asked myself many, many times. After all these years of pulling for the Bulldogs, Falcons, Braves, to a lesser extent the Hawks I have only seen three titles, neither of which is particularly recent.
It's a curse man, I'm not sure what my predecessor Georgians did but they must have pissed off the sports gods something awful.

Piling on Georgia is fun and all, but don’t forget they are one of only 5 SEC teams to win it all in baseball (6 if you count Missouri, which I do not).
ETA they got damn close in 2008 as well if memory serves me right. Think they made it to the finals and lost a heartbreaker to Fresno State.

Correct, we got caught up in the Nike bat fiasco.
Frankly, FSU just thoroughly out played us in a phases and looked to be the better team. I can live with that.
They may be a team that got hot at the right time and have a date with destiny....or they may look like shite vs LSU, it's baseball, anything can happen.

The fact is the condition of HS Sports in Georgia, UGA should have the best overall athletic program in the SEC. I have never understood why they underachieve in the major sports and why they do not have an Athletic Program on the level of UF. Is is coaching, Athletic Administration, University Administration or just fan apathy ? Tech is another program that has fallen off the face of the College Sports World, but I do not think they care.

The one title we won, which should have easily been 3-4? Having possibly the best pitching staff of all time? Only won against an even shittier sports town that ours, Cleveland? In a strike shortened season? That one?
