Shocking that both Kelly and Sarkisian have a worse record than Jimbo Fisher in this

Only reasonable answer is that practice was more important than the kid’s life. BK pretty much said so.

Official ND investigation causes:
1. “Extraordinary” winds. So extraordinary that they were not only forecasted but also happened the day before.
2. Lift design. Nevermind that all standard lift equipment is rated to 28mph(fully extended wind sock) and this lift withstood at least 54MPH before failure.

Sounds like the video team coordinator dropped the ball.

Maybe the athletic director as well.

It’s a little less funny when your actions have directly led to the deaths of others over a game.

The young man’s parents have publicly stated that Brian Kelly held no blame in the guy’s death. Kind of pathetic that you would try to hold him responsible when his own family doesn’t.
….all that being said, congratulations on one of the most outstanding melts I’ve ever seen on he rant.

There is nothing retarded about the safety and well being of your employees, players, or the general public.
I was responsible for two dozen engineers working in extremely hazardous environments for 15 years making a lot more revenue than ND football at the time and the worst thing I saw was a broken finger. Promoting a safe work environment is as simple as empowering your employees to stop unsafe work. Failing to create such an environment is reckless homicide.
Lift equipment is the easiest of all: wind sock bent: OK. Wind sock straight out: no lift.

So Kirby Smart has losing records against LSU, Alabama and Ole Miss. Lucky he is not playing on the west side of the SEC.

Should have held onto him for another year. He just needed a little more time.

I love how all 3 of Missouri’s fans are completely deranged over BK because he took your lunch money. None of us care about your social issues or whatever else you’re crying about, I’m not reading all of that

I think that's where the disconnect lies, a head football coach isn't responsible for the student video crew.

That's a function of the athletic department.

The lift failed at double the international standard and a pre-school kid can read a wind sock.

His final two tweets were:

-60mph winds at work, guess I’ve lived long enough.
-holy frick this is scary

Clearly he was not empowered to protect his own wellbeing.

Brian Kelly is the most consistent coach in college football. That is a good thing. And a bad thing. He won’t ever have a “the wheels fall off” season. Nether will he ever have a transcendent type season like 2019 that LSU fans will talk about for years. He will just be there with his 9 or 10 wins. So close, yet so far. It will always be “just wait till next year” with Kelly at LSU.

For someone who is only good and not transcendent, he sure does command a lot of attention on this board.
