Who did Oregon beat again? The only top 25 team they played they lost to them. If they beat Utah in the PAC12 Championship they will be in. Until that happens they don't deserve to be in the top 4

The committee is saying they value quality wins over losses, regardless of how bad they are.

That’s why Oregon and Utah are still behind bama, they have no “great” wins.
Now explain the Minny situation

Face it, the committee just gets drunk and picks whatever they want

When they lost to a sorry arse South Carolina team?

Someone please explain

Oregon would destroy this team

Because UGA has the best wins of any 1 loss team. Next question.

But an undefeated team has a better win

Minnesota has 1 ranked win. UGA has 2. Minnesota has a clear path to the playoffs. I know LSU hasn't made the playoffs before, but you want to be top 4 for the final CFP ranking, not the second CFP ranking.

Seems early to be melting about it yet. First Georgia has to get to the conference title game and then they will have to face LSU almost certainly. If they lose any of those they are out. Win them all and their in. It will work itself out, if there is controversy it will be between one loss conference champs and one loss Alabama. Georgia's path is pretty clear one way or the other

How is BAMA 5?

They have ZERO top 25 wins and got beat up and down the field for three quarters at home by the #2 team in the country.

Because they will 100% be in if they win out

The committee is just signaling

Clemson was NEVER going to be left out the rankings

They just figured they would be 3 behind
Winner Bama/LSU
Winner Penn St/Ohio State
Then Penn Statw took themselves out the equation.

What’s surprising is that OU is 10
Is the committee saying there is nothing they can do to get back in?

Which is Bama's "great" win that keeps them in front of Oregon and Utah? And Baylor and Minnesota for that matter.

What about Penn St that has beaten three top 25 teams and lost to a top 10 team? Is that not as good as beating two top 25 teams and losing to a bowl-inelegible at home?

There really is no defending the current CFP rankings outside of the top 3.

I have no dog in the hunt, but the thing that mystified me is that UGA loses to USCe, who was themselves beatten by Tennessee and App State, and Bama only loses to LSU.

I get that UGA has better quality wins, and based on that deserves to be there - but the loss to USCe just looks horrible.
