Funny how fans will grade the worthiness of a broadcaster on how often he's willing to kiss their team or favorite players arse. LSU fans do this shite with Danielson who's one of the best in the business.

Anybody who doesn't think Ware was being biased either didn't watch the game, or has the same bias he has.
I couldn't care less what color our QB is. I'd just like one that can complete a forward pass. Unfortunately, I'm not sure we have one. Sims probably IS the best answer for now, but that doesn't mean I want to listen to some dildo drone on and on about how GREAT his swing pass out to the flat was.
Ware was a complete douchebag. He was claiming the QB competition was over before Coker even got on the field. STFU, is what I say.
I don't listen to Finebaum, I don't think ANY of my favorite Bama players have ever been white, I like Gary Danielson, and I said last Dec. that Coker wouldn't win the starting job after only just getting on campus.
I just think Ware is terrible.

I was the first person to mention this on the PF show today and said nothing about race. Kinda sucks that the conversation turned that way. I acknowledged that Sims is probably going to be our guy and that Coker isn't ready. But, for whatever reason, it was painfully obvious that Ware had an annoying bias for Sims. And it was apparent before Coker ever took a snap in the game.

There is no doubt that Simms looks better than Coker. But Ware was bitching the moment Coker started warming up, and even when he did something good Ware tried to find something wrong.

There were only 2 things I thought Ware did wrong.
1. Go on constantly about the deep crossing route+Deep Go route and the differences that each QB went with. Coker actually went with the right read as the 2nd DB peeled off to cover back towards the crossing route. While on Sims play, Sims chose the right read, as the Deep Go route was double covered the whole way. Both were correct reads, but Coker missed on the throw.
2. Seemed to not care or pay attention to Sims running the wrong play as the rest of the offense, resulting in a turnover on the goaline. Which is a turnover at any point in the game, unlike Coker's 1st half error, which is only a turnover at the end of the halfs. I've seen people hold those errors as the same thing, and it's remarkably not.
If Alabama's gonna unleash the Bubble Screen Demon, gotta go with the QB that can actually throw it

He had an agenda and his behavior this afternoon did nothing to convince me otherwise. I feel much better about our QBs and don't need one sided commentary to help me form that opinion. Sims is doing very well thus far and Jake needs more live reps. It is obvious who the starter is.

I've said elsewhere that I'm comfortable with Sims. However, I'm not ready to give up on Coker.
These "Coker sucks!" histrionics are so overblown. I just watched the replay of the FAU game. He wasn't that tragic. Probably his first extended game action since high school. I bet he looks much more polished this coming week - if he gets his chance.

I guess it couldn't have to do with the fact that Sims has been there, has the locker room and has paid his dues. That counts, especially to those that have been there. I agree with everything Ware said. He never said Coker sucked.

He doesn't suck, he just doesnt run our offense near as well as Sims.

He probably didnt comment on it because he didnt know if it was Yeldon or Sims that made the wrong read.
