Bama couldn’t hold on to a 28 point lead and that alone told us a lot about them. Georgia played poorly in a hostile environment and still came within one play of beating “ mighty” Bama.

Not denying any of the above. Strange things happen. As I have said, it's a pivotal moment for DeBoer as HC. He either rises to the occasion and places a bad game behind, while reeling in some player discord and coaching failures. Or, he doesn't.
One game defines nothing. It's not the actions that occur, but the response to them that define leaders. October will tell a story for this team and it's new coach.

I don’t know. Losing to Vandy when you are ranked #1 is pretty damning.

Yeah, having Diego Pavia at QB will do it

I saw a lot in that game that leads me to believe your team has major problems. Saban was the master at preparing his teams and having them mentally prepared as well. I saw a Bama defense that’s so bad LSU fans were blushing, and players so unhinged that I have never seen from a Saban coached team. Your new coach doesn’t appear to have the grapes to handle this program. If not for Ryan Williams your team has two losses and yesterday’s game would have been a double digit loss to VANDY. VANDY !!!!!

Same way a the team that lost to GA State beat Bama. Overlook the opponent and the next thing you know, your arse is beat.

I mean. We all saw the same game, so no shite.
The biggest learning curve DeBoer has is in managing success. Saban was a master in keeping a team even keeled. Build them up from a falter and bring them down from a high.
They never came down until they did.
Again, it's a moment for DeBoer to shine or falter in October.

Honestly, he’s represents a lot of what makes college football special.

Same way we beat the last Saban led Bama team (that went on to win the SEC) at Bryant Denny, then dropped a game to the gooners in the Red River Shootout. shite happens.

How many times has Kirby had the opportunity to host Bama at home?
