A.J. Terrell is actually a pretty good corner. He just had a bad game or shall I say he got beat by a better player. It happens. He will probably be a 3-5 round draft pick and be playing in the NFL. Chase just took it to him and made some great catches. You have to give credit where credit is due. But Alabama fans should know Terrill is the same guy that got the pick six interception in the title game last year and have Clemson all the momentum in that game.

As good as Stingley is (and he is great as a freshman already) Devonte Smith the WR from Alabama took him to school. That doesn't mean that he is not a great player but some days someone might get the best of you. I'm not saying that Terrill is as good as Stingley but I'm just pointing out that even the best cornerback get beat sometimes or just overall have a bad game.

Chase is a Reuben Randle-level talent who played with a great QB

Dumbest post I’ve ever seen. And that is not a hate on Reuben Randle. He is and always will be a Tiger. It’s just that Chase blows him out of the water.

Sam Bradford threw 50 TDs in 2008 as a Heisman winning QB. No Heisman QB has thrown as many until Burrow, who threw 60. Chase caught every third TD.

Since 2008, Kelvin Benjamin and Kendall Wright are the only two receivers who pulled in Heisman TDs at a higher clip.

How does the Cozway man reconcile Ja'Marr Chase into a Kelvin Benjamin wannabe?

If we are going all the way back to Julio, Alshon and AJ he’s WAY down the list.

I know this is a homer reply, but I think Sterling would have led this pack had Carolina been in the SEC at the time.

AJ Green, Alshon Jeffrey, and Julio Jones are the three best that I can remember.

Butt-Hurticus Maximus.

Watch how this narrative changes once Myles Brennan starts launching ICBMs with tactical precision on the reg:

"Muh best receiver in SEC making him look good!"

but he did it on what, 25 catches with 15 scores seems like. PP7 had enough of him in one game.

So what are the metrics to use for evaluation: measurables or season statistics?

You know, I have to agree. Jeudy had one decent season and fell off the map last year. Had a hard time blocking too. Didn't seem to do it without blatant holding.
