He was solid last year. Highest YPC.

I feel it should be done swiftly and with much pain administered as possible....

You implied that the only reason Bama would have 300+ rushing yards per game was because Coker was bad. Just applying the same logic to your team.
Well that is dumb bec AU will be rushing for 300 a game and passing.

More like a mobile Chris Todd circa 2009.

Why am I imagining you swinging a baseball bat in this instance?

It was good enough without that contribution. Thanks though.

Mark Ingram was VERY good at doing that and look where he's at. Your first mistake. Second, not every back is Barry Sanders. Saying a running back is only as good as his O-Line is about 95% of the way to saying water is wet.
Stupid post is stupid.
Bama's OLs have been built for the running game. They are big, but are slow to open holes as a result of their size. The bama backs are slower to the holes due to that fact, that is why Ingram and Richardson have had problems at the next level. Some backs create yardage based on their quickness to a hole, Mason was a 1000 yard rusher with a poor OL in 2012. His window was very small that year, he adjusted to a better OL last year. I think Bama will have some of the same problems as AU OL in 2012.

Putting myself in the shoes of an opposing defender, let's say an AU or UT defender here.
I am not thrilled at having to tackle such a large person, but it could be worse. I'm not nearly as worried about him as I am about having to tackle Todd Gurley. Say what you will about his exaggerated "injury history", watch the tape last year and you'll see that at least once in every single game, some defender that tried to tackle #3 left the game afterward with an injury. Some came back, but I still don't relish the chance that I'll be that guy this year.

Mark this post. Henry will prove to be injury prone next year. Something ain't right about his running style.

I don't have to tackle him, but if he was so good why did he not playing time until late in a bowl game when the outcome had been decided?
Sure this has been addressed in this 3 pg idiotic thread
But Nuss was told to "find another OC job" and we brought in Kiffin

A little high but he is extremely agile and fast/explosive at his weight, needs to lower the pads a bit but it seems to work

As long as Defense do not arm swipe him like OK did, I do not think many teams are that worried. What I saw from the A-Day game, was a back that was waiting for a hole to open and it never did. Like all the Bama Backs the last 5 years, they are only as good as the OL ahead of them. They are not very good at making something out of nothing.
Gonna be hilarious when Bama's OL dominates every teams DL this year and still is really good and what we all saw in Bama's Aday was just the ridiculousness of the DL Bama has assembled

Don't these two statements contradict themselves?

It will feel great to tackle him in the backfield while he dances around the hole trying to identify one
I don't understand this because he actually has great vision.
