I seem to remember a pretty solid melt here and across other boards when he was hired.

How are the reviews now?

He did fine. His game management, as witnessed on the last drive of regulation, has to improve though.

Well our offense went from 109th to 9th nationally in year one.

Defense has got to not be god sucking awful though

They're still begging him to not go back to Oklahoma. They have 3 couches in front of his door

I was cautiously optimistic when he was hired, and I am cautiously optimistic now. At least they’re a lot more fun to watch. If we can restock the cupboards and shore up the defense, we might be alright.

I like him. Team plays hard, he’s not a walking punchline or dumb quote, and he brings some much needed energy.

I was definitely one of those guys like “who the frick is josh huepel” and I have been pleasantly surprised. I think that’s probably accurate for the majority of VOL fans

This. He has some work to do in the game management price. Seems like he can get the most out of his players though

Idk but he’s certainly better than Shane Beamer.

Great game planner and overall hard to be too displeased with the offense. Not overly impressed with situational play calling. Horrible clock management.

Ultimate fate will be determined by recruiting.

I think he is very high floor and low ceiling.

He did a hell of a job this season with a patch work roster. Incredible offense. Defense needs a lot of work and bodies
