It's tradition, and it's nostalgia. Yesterday's ineptitude brought back recollections of John Ray's first season at Kentucky (1969) and his failed attempt to put together a QB by committee -- back then it was Stan Forston, Steve Tingle and Bernie Scruggs.

To wit, if the average lifespan of a fan is 50 years after they graduate, then OSU would have to graduate 200k+ folks every year for the numbers to work.....
