32-27 overall
13-16 SEC
33 RPI

Thought they were a bubble team?

Their AD was on the committee. Lol.

You asked question a question and answered it all in the OP.

There isn't a difference between a 2 and a 3 seed.

They were sent to the Oregon State regional, so it wasn't that much a prize.

Let's see..............

16 regionals; 16 1 seeds and 16 2 seeds. 16+16 = 32. 33 rpi just 1 spot below 32. Why is a #33 RPI team (that just beat Vandy) getting a spot in the top 32 teams unreasonable?

I wish we had missed the tournament. This just assures that Childress stays for a while killing a program that has all of the tools to be successful.

Because there were plenty 3 seeds better than yours.

I don't think a 13 win SEC team has ever been a 2 seed. Heck, I think in 2011 when we won 13 we didn't even make the tournament.

I'm not a huge RC fan but that's silly. Guy has taken us to the post-season 7 straight years now and has a CWS in there. He's not killing the program. He's just slightly underperforming our expectations.

But either way, this was always a rebuilding year so it's hard to be too disappointed in it no matter how it goes from here.

My team got a National Seed. I have no problem with A&M getting a 2 seed.

There are plenty of 3 seeds better than A&M? Name them and explain why.

It's in baseball's best interest to seed the historical powerhouses higher.

This isnt too uncommon is it? Teams that you wouldnt think have any business being in the tourney get 2 or 3 seeds just because they're from a bcs conference and big name schools. Just how it is. Fwiw i think aTm might do well

R.C. seemed to pull his head out of his arse late in the season. Hopefully, he is starting to realize that what made him successful in the Big 12 will get him killed in the SEC.

I think we're dangerous and I wouldn't be happy if I was OSU. Mengden is in form and Ray has also really pitched well lately. I don't know if we're deep enough or have enough hitting to get through the losers bracket though. Very little margin of error for us.

I hope we can find a way to see the piggies again in the supers

Maybe that is extreme. But we have had pathetic bats for years with Childress.

Yeah but I'll be pulling for them to win that Corvallis regional.
