Serious question. I don't really remember. Thanks.

Big fatty qb would pick up what he needed to keep drives alive and elliot broke off a few

I remember they had about a 95 yard run because one of our starting linebackers got hurt.

They broke a couple of long ones when they caught linebackers out of position.

Bama defense beat itself

Gotcha, I was looking at the stats from LSU and Bama in recent games, and was a little surprised when I saw how well OSU ran against Bama.

Elliot was pretty amazing those last few games. Ran for 200+ in his final three games when OSU needed it most.

Your entire premise is wrong. Ohio State didn't rush for "so many yards". Alabama just allowed "so many yards" because they beat themselves.
Anybody with eyes knows Alabama was the better team. But sometimes they beat themselves. That's not debatable.

Also, the defense was fairly worn down by the end of the game. The coaching staff refused to let them get any rest by basically going into a two-minute offense for the entire second half. They really let their foot off the gas after taking the 21-6 lead. Kind of reminiscent of the A&M game this year, the major difference being that OSU had an actual ground attack.

Because Bama beat themselves by allowing Elliot to make long runs.

How did Arkansas shut out LSU?

Alabama wins that game 9/10 times

Precisely. They beat themselves.
It was tragic really, how they beat themselves, when you think about it.

Well I wouldn't go that far. OSU was still top to bottom the better team. They showed up in the second half and took total control of the clock and forced Sims out of the pocket on the Reg. They forced a lot of turnovers when they had to, as well.
