That 1964 claim isn’t weak at all. Recognized by the NCAA as it was one of the major polls back then. We could actually claim one more if we wanted.
I was in Charlotte in 1994 so remember it well.
We back in basketball. A sport the US cares about. I’m glad y’all are good at baseball. I really am because you are awful in the other two sports
I’d take a basketball on every 30 years over a baseball one every year. Nobody outside of 4 southern states care about college baseball.
Again it wasn’t on any TVs at any bar down here in Naples, FL

Not sure how you come up with 3 conference wins in 9 years. We had 3 last year and one was vs your team. We still lead the head to head, more division titles, more bowls and well more everything

Good lord man. The butthurt about State is flowing through you mightily. You dogged State all season and have nothing to show for it while the hardware sits in Starkville.
The state of TN had 2 teams in Omaha. They might care. Hell the state of Nebraska thinks college baseball is important. I'm sure some people in other states would chime in too.
Its OK man. State got to the pinnacle while Arkansas did not. There's always next year.

I don’t like the whistler. But you can’t blame the entire fan base for him. What I am supposed to do? Go knock his head off and enjoy some lovely scenery in the Tennessee Penal System. You would like that wouldn’t you? Vandy fans don’t set well with bologna sandwiches and RC cola.

Well I am still on cloud nine and floating.
We were in Destin last week on vacation and sure was fun wearing my State garb on the beach and when we were out and about.
I am still enjoying it though I am melancholy that my parents/aunts/uncles did not live to see this moment. Though I know there was a big party upstairs!!!!

You (your fan base) could start by not encouraging the Whistler. He whistles three times and the crowd responds with a clap clap clap….and he feeds off the attention and your fans give it to him. It’s sending the message that not only is it ok, it’s now an integral part of a rally or big inning. Your fans are participating in his shenanigans.

I was genuinely happy for State. Theyve been at it a long time, Lord knows they've paid their dues. I wish we had half the program they have in Starkville. Tired of watching shite baseball in Lexington.

Thank you for the kind words. I think we all wished we were closer to you all in basketball.
State has had a few occasions where we have competed well with UK but they seemed to have been few and far between.
