Fluke year? We’ve had SIX ten win seasons since 2007. We’ve twice been a game away from the NC game in that same time frame. I’d argue this is our third best season since 2007. Possibly fourth.

Maybe fluke is too strong a word because the players really stepped up this year and I like seeing that. Hat’s off to them.
Pinkel did a great job while he was there and it’s a shame he left, he had 5 10 win seasons, and 2 of those in the SEC, and had that program in good shape.
But other than the usual 2 sec teams due to talent, the rest are subject to ups and downs. The question in most teams minds is the ability to sustain. It ain’t easy when it can be one injury away from good and bad.

We’ll be picked 14th in the SEC next year & everyone will act shocked that Mizzou is in the playoffs. Sounds like a you problem.

They tried to make us sign and notarize a doc acknowledging Bama's 1964 “Championship”. We said frick off - in that case we’d rather stay on the SWC Titanic and drink with the band.

Because Mizzou isn’t infinitely better than Arkansas. Y’all beat us in a Cotton Bowl when we didn’t have a head coach. You really think y’all played the same team that just beat #1 LSU? Arkansas has been in a down period the last decade. Most programs have them. One thing going for Mizzou is they get up to play Arkansas. Arkansas just sees it as another game. Add that on top of how mediocre we’ve been and that’s why we’ve lost to Mizzou more often than should.
