Didn’t they win the SWC their last year in the league?

Tells us all we need to know about Missouri. Only took the job because Barnhill required head coaching experience and bailed after one year.

“We focused on Arkansas and South Carolina, and really wanted Texas,” Schiller told me earlier this month. “So, something interesting happened: The (Texas) state legislature came back to me and said, ‘If you take Texas, you have to take Texas A&M."
"Schiller was the SEC commissioner from 1986 to 1989, and he said Texas was the “apple of his eye” in conference expansion, but added there wasn’t much interest in Texas A&M at the time."
"The Longhorns had promised to come with the Razorbacks when the SEC formally expanded in August of 1990. State politics – with a governor with Baylor ties – blocked UT’s move. Broyles thought the deal he orchestrated with SEC commissioner Roy Kramer included both Texas and Texas A&M."

What’s this got to do with Arkansas coming to the SEC , dweeb. We came here and you didn’t, each apparently had a choice.
That’s why we left the SWC, if texas and aggie left for somewhere else as a package deal then we’d be left in a crap conference situation.
texas had nothing to do with us getting to come to the SEC.
You stayed up all night and today searching for this response?
Delusions of grandeur on display. Stay where you are.

Texas fans who "say" they are not excited to have A&M back on the schedule are nuts. Moody Center and Disch-Falk sellout instantly whenever we play them.
I can honestly say after I got over the T-day tradition thing (didn't take long) I was perfectly fine never having aggy on the schedule for eternity. Now they even set it up to where our win next year won't be a quality one ffs.

Broyles would’ve never made a name for himself if he stayed at Missouri.

Frank was 34 years old and in his first season in 1958, they started 0-6.
Frank called up one of his family members and told them that he was ready to go home and join his father's insurance business.
However he won four games in a row and the rest was history.

But Arkansas got invited and excepted no matter what the others did, dumbass.
You made no sense.
Broyles had been shopping for another conference since the 80s.

You've already erased any doubts of your cerebral challenges, but thanks for the triple down and recurring humor.

The statement of a loser. Typical delusional crap.

Nope. missouri is a pro sports state, they will never be able to compete with that. Most people in that state don’t know the program exists.
You realize one of our Walmart families took the Rams to LA, right? Mizzou football has been and will be on the rise despite some serious hiccups over the past 8 years.

Nope, I wasn’t aware of that. What’s that got to do with pro sports being bigger than college football in Missouri? I’ve seen real Missouri fans talk about it here.
And why haven’t the Walmart family members turned their attention to mizzou?
Enjoy what you have going this year, it may be the hiccup you’re talking about.

UT athletic director DeLoss Dodds reflected on the importance of Arkansas' departure, saying, “What had to happen, [was] there had to be a crisis for change.”
Arkansas athletic director Frank Broyles, who played at Georgia Tech when the Yellow Jackets competed in the SEC, said that he was encouraged to leave by UT's and Texas A&M's leaders, because it would destabilize the conference, allowing them to do the same. The leaderships at UT and Texas A&M believed they would never be allowed to leave first.
I can go on with the facts all day, get back to the shallow end son.

Where do you come up with this shite?
Mizzou is 8-2 vs your hogs since we joined. 2008 we drubbed you in the Cotton Bowl.
But following your logic, at what point will the only program that means anything in your entire state actually matter? Missouri has the Cardinals, Blues, Chiefs, and Royals. Yet Mizzou manages to be infinitely better than Arkansas. Why?

That same Walmart family put their son in prep school for years just so he could play Mizzou basketball. I’m not sure the Rams move isn’t strategic.

None of this gibberish refutes what I said about pro sports being the focus of Missouri fans not mizzou. Most probably don’t know or care what your program is doing.
All Arkansas fans know why we are where we are since the same time frame you joined the conference. You can hold hands with all the other teams who have beaten us over that timeframe if it makes you happy, since until this fluke year, you have nothing to be happy about in any sport.
Maybe ohio st will not care about the bowl game and you can finally win a bowl game like that bowl game against us without a head coach and players who mailed it in. It’s a shame though, under normal circumstances that could have been a good game.
