Teams who have done things, get to assume things. Bama can assume victories over ranked teams. Ohio State this year can. Not the Aggies. You simply haven't been good enough for a very long time. So being cocky about beating a team who was better last year, and projected to be better this year, is laughable.

They play pretty good Offense in the PAC-12.
I've heard they play Defense but I just haven't seen it.

Virtually everyone at A&M thinks we're going to be much better than last year, and better than people think. That said, I don't have any idea how good ASU really is. I'll be mildly surprised if we lose.

So ASU is very good, but A&M should win? What does that make A&M?

Bercovici is a good player and they are a good team
They have a good shot to win the PAC12 South this year

If Chief can work his magic for 58 minutes the aggies might win this one.

Technically we were only offseason natty champs in 2013.
'12 we were supposed to be winless, last year most Ags were saying 7-9 wins

Don't bring facts into this.

Much like USC last year, I feel like ASU will be a paper tiger. They are a team with a good coach who has come off multiple double digit win seasons in a row whom everyone is expecting to be good largely because of a redshirt senior QB who has looked good in spot duty. That was the same story on USC last year.
The reality is that they lost their three best players to the draft, the receivers they have left are so injured that they moved their scat back to full time receiver, their offensive line is starting two new tackles and their defense was somehow WORSE than A&M's last year in several categories. Moreover, history shows us there is a reason why guys who only start their redshirt senior seasons couldn't win the job in the four previous years.
We're just better and it's a de facto home game.

I think you'll be much improved as well. But ASU is not even remotely a cake walk. In fact, it's the toughest OOC opponent the SEC has week one. ASU is very good this year. So expecting a win is not something many should do over a good team like ASU.
What I'm saying is. There are maybe 4 teams good enough to expect a win with pretty strong confidence over a team like ASU. Ohio State, Bama, TCU, and probably Baylor or Oregon. I don't put the Aggies near those teams, so this attitude that they have no real chance is weird. ASU is a damn good team. Outstanding coach, strong in most positions, and a lot of veterans on that team.

I don't get it. Why is that funny? He's got good size, great speed, and he's very physical.

It's funny because the dbag doesn't really know anything about football and is tamusessed.

So who wants to predict how badly ASU will suddenly "suck" or was "vastly overrated"--per tSECr posters--after the Aggies win on Saturday?

Teams. Key word there.
Not fans. We can say and think whatever the frick we want. It has ZERO effect on the game.

I'll expect a win, and there isn't a fricking thing you're going to do about it.
Edit: Vegas basically expects a win, too.
