I bet Meyer is really crying inside because he is 0-2 against Auburn, really tarnishes his 2-0 record in BCS Championship games.

I say Tebow was the better deal for the money.

I think it's pretty obvious who the better football player is.

Tim Tebow was fun to watch. He was energetic and had a nice jump pass. On 3rd-and-4, you knew he was going to run it at you... and he was going to get 5 yards. He threw the ball with the tip of the nose down, but it didn't matter because he was pretty accurate and had Percy Harvin catching for him.

Then you have Cam Newton... who is extremely fun to watch. He is very energetic. On 3rd-and-4, you're pretty sure he's going to run it at you... and then he runs it at you and around you for a 25-yard gain. Because of his unparalleled threat at running the ball, every team begins to cheat up with a nervous anxiety... then he either hands the ball to another RB around the side for 50 yards or he throws it, with nice touch and accuracy, for a first down.

Vince Young in the 2005 national title game is the only other player I've ever seen take over a game in multiple ways as Cam Newton has this year.

It's a little much to say cam newton doesn't have character. I would 100% rather play with cam newton than tim tebow and id rather have him on my team too.

When Cam has won 2 NC's for Auburn, then I will say he is on equal footing with Tebow.

Not to mention one thing Newton won't be able to touch is Tebow's consistency. Tebow was around for so long and sustained his play at a high level for so long. This could be nothing but a one time thing for Newton.

You can only judge based on what they have done so far. There is no chance AU is undefeated right now if Tebow is our QB. Tebow lost four games his first year with a better supporting cast.

What adversity did Tebow face? Losing to a four loss Ole Miss team at home? I hope Cam never has to face that kind of "adversity". If Cam comes through all this mud slinging and baseless accusations and leads AU to an SEC Championship this isn't even an argument anymore.
