If we are a virtual lock then i suppose we have a couple weeks to muse on the LSU situation until the sec champ/playoffs then.

Funny, many threads keep asking us these dumb questions and when we answer you fall to pieces. The handling has been a shitshow, that's not arguable.

I didn't ask you a frickin' thing chief, the OP was dumb to pose this question here.Once again, you know nothing but what the media is leaking of the situation, there's a lot more to it

For reference, I responded to the OP and not you. You opened that door with a lot of shite slinging. There's a reason that this is being played out in the media, and it has nothing to with Alabama and everything to do with the LSU administration and the athletic department.

To be fair, I'm not sure that there is a good way to handle these situations but it's certainly not like this. There is 0% chance Les is back next year why not make the declaration? One commit already lost right?

Seems to me a great deal of Bama fans are more upset over this than anyone.

Pretty much everyone outside of the mesaage board crowd / rant is at least little bewildered about how all of this has gone down

I hope it happens. SEC-W is the toughest division in football and even an established coach isn't guaranteed to have success. I doubt LSU lands a big hire anyway, probably go the up and comer route and hope he's not a bust.

They're just pissed off they won't be able o make fun of Miles at LSU's expense anymore. Before this came about Les was the laughing stock of this place and now that LSU is making a move all of these clowns are championing for him.frick em' all,not their business.

I think this mentality is really helping facilitate this move. And that's what makes it dangerous.

There's a good old country saying, "A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush." You've got a good coach. A very good coach. You're frustrated because of a couple of subpar years. The trick is knowing when to let go of the bird in your hand and go after the ones in the bush. I honestly don't think the optimal time for that is this year. But it is y'all's call.

I'd guess that there's a 20% chance the hire blows up in the face of LSU, there's a 60% chance that the coach you land is ultimately not really any better than the coach you already have, and there's a 20% chance that the coach you hire will be noticeably better than Miles in the long run.

They do. They just don't like that LSU is making the needed changes and so quickly.

You don't fire a great coach because he can't beat the best ever.

I think y'all have excessively devalued your coach during a slump and are willing to gamble on the unknown.I think it is a pretty risky bet and wouldn't want to do it at this time if it was Alabama

If you think this is all there is to it, then you don't know a thing about college football. Of course, that's why Georgia will still be finishing 2nd or 3rd in the SECe under Richt years from now.
