Win some turnovers for points, score some when having the ball on non turnover possessions, play really good to elite def.

The problem is Bama can score a lot when in a shootout so it would be a game if it came down to that.

You are asking about this season I assume? LSU can stay close for maybe 20-25 minutes, but just not enough staying power to make it the entire game.

Hi, I'm Back. I would like to tell you that this is the stupidest post I've ever seen on this board and I've been a member for about 3 minutes.

LSU won't keep it close with Bama for 2 minutes, much less 20-25 minutes. Don't you feel embarrassed making a post like you just made?

Probably need something close to the 1975 Oklahoma/Kansas game. Oklahoma lost four fumbles, threw four interceptions, had a punt blocked, had a field goal blocked, missed another field goal and lost 23-3. OU still won the Natty however.

I was at the A&M game. LSU is a lot better team than most are giving them credit for. They are young but talented.
Keys to an upset:
No turnovers. LSU turned it over three times. Can’t do that against any SEC team and win.
Offensive line, has to do way better. They gotta give those two young QB’s time.
Reason I think LSU can pull it off? The LSU defensive front and secondary played their best game of the year. LSU stuffed a talented A&M running game up front. And Stingley really is that good in the secondary. If they can force a turnover or two, Alabama can be in trouble. I like it for a long shot bet with odds.

When you graduate from middle school come back and post with the adults. Obviously your Covid home schooling isn’t doing you any good.

score more points in any variety of ways.

An injury to Mac and/or Smith automatically changes the game dynamic.

Sloppy play from lack of focused prep leading to busted coverages and being out of position; lose turnover battle and field position advantage heavy in LSU favor.

If the Lsu offense plays like it did earlier in the season and the D shows up like it did last week, LSU has a great chance to stay in the game if Bama isn't hitting on all cylinders.

The 1993 game was a blowout on paper as well that didn't end up great for Bama. 31 game unbeaten streak, 3 score favorite, etc. None of that matters once the game kicks off.

Lsu has talent and are always up for Bama. If O can't get them focused to play hard this week, he should hang it up the rest of the season. Personally, I think it will be a better game than others think, even if final score doesn't reflect that.
