You are asking about this season I assume? LSU can stay close for maybe 20-25 minutes, but just not enough staying power to make it the entire game.

That's the best strategy but it'd have to be the best offense and defense LSU has shown all year. Ball control doesn't mean anything if you can't get touchdowns

LSU would need to be +5 in TO margin (ole miss 2015), with some being pick 6 or scoop and score. On top of getting a special teams TD and play ball control.
