So, do you believe that the Big Ten refs put their professional reputations on the line just to stick it to the SEC?

Why did they send a crew chief that had been reprimanded before?

Because they're fricking stupid. Read the posts on here of about 90% of the posters who are fans of B1G teams, and you'll see that it pretty much applies across the board.

Let's face it. Football is fertile ground for missed calls. It is, in fact, the most flawed team sport in existence. There is an infraction of some rule on every single snap. That problem has been exacerbated by the implementation of such ridiculous rules as "leaping" penalties and "targeting" penalties. To expect game officials to call a perfect game is absurd. If they did, every play would result in a penalty. If this bothers you, watch baseball or soccer instead.

Capron and his crew fricked up the 2016 OSU/Mich game as well. 2 YEARS

What blocked punt? Don’t see it in the box score. Either way the call goes there is no punt block. The only way the block would have occurred is a no call. Everybody agrees there should be a penalty. Everybody agrees it should have probably been a false start. Instead everybody agrees UGA was called for offsides. Either way there IS NO BLOCKED PUNT. At worst it was a 10 yard loss for UGA. It DID NOT cost them the game. Bama won the game by making more plays when it counted.

Should be a penalty on Bama, yet one was called on UGA.....holy shite, it's a crimson world.

should have been a five yard penalty or off setting in your scenario...10 yard loss for UGA? dipshits.

Another dodge.

I don't truly believe it, no.

Seems weird and interesting Capron would be their choice. Does the playoff committee not review the crews?

I have no idea how they choose the officials or what kind of review they do. I just hoped you didn't really believe they would call a game in favor of one team over another when they would seemingly get no benefit from it one way or the other

I even said they didn't pick UGA to call against. UGA got ahead and they wanted it close. A close shite show.

Game changing call.

A 5 yard penalty against Bama and a re-kick was game changing? Ok.

they keep saying that if the refs hadn't made a bad call on the non-offsides it wouldn't have mattered - becauee of the false start on Alabama. but the refs didn't see a false start. it wasn't called. instead, to add insult to injury, they called a penalty against Georgia.

how screwed up is that? the refs missed a real penalty against Alabama which actually would've benefited Georgia, but instead called a non-existent penalty against Georgia to make sure there was no blocked punt.

and Alabama says no harm.

So, your argument is that instead of missing a call that negatively affected Georgia, they should have missed a call that would have negatively affected Alabama... so as to avoid poor officiating.

Yeah, that makes sense.
