how can alabama defend the missed call on the blocked punt?

they keep saying that if the refs hadn't made a bad call on the non-offsides it wouldn't have mattered - becauee of the false start on Alabama. but the refs didn't see a false start. it wasn't called. instead, to add insult to injury, they called a penalty against Georgia.
how screwed up is that? the refs missed a real penalty against Alabama which actually would've benefited Georgia, but instead called a non-existent penalty against Georgia to make sure there was no blocked punt.
and Alabama says no harm.
yes, if the refs would've called the play correctly, it's 5 yards against Alabama, and a 10 yard field position difference. but the refs didn't call it correctly.

Why would they need to. It was a missed call. There were a lot of missed calls on both sides.

and then they want a PI call on a play that should have be called dead (Nighjay Harris was guilty of a false start on the game tying TD).
Who knows when the fuq they want a play blown dead?....when it benefits bama the most, I suppose.

If we're going to complain pointlessly, I'd like to point out the pass interference that wasn't called when your guys grabbed our WR around the waist and nearly intercepted the ball in the back of the endzone. If I cared more, I'd look up some more to complain about. But, since we won, I don't feel the need.

So you're advocating that the play should have been reviewed and the false start called?
Or that the play be reviewed and offsides overturned, plus the false start ignored, and the blocked punt to stand?

Would you still be on her complaining if the refs didn't call offsides and Georgia blocks the punt and scores? Would you be on here saying Alabama got screwed by the no call on the false start?
