44-33 Georgia

Would rather see UT win, but think Georgia has this one at home.

But we have so many new posters sprinkled with some alters that I doubt it will be graceful if we win. That and the UT fans have been so combative the last 2-3 weeks.

Lists have been made.

I'll back off the gas a bit. It's football season and the chatter gets a bit insane once in a while. I think it was the mention of the loss to Kentucky that triggered me. I was raised there and was the sole Tiger fan in my class growing up. I still hold a grudge against anything and everything related to Big Blue due to the traumatization I suffered in my childhood.

I was thinking about this though... If, by some weird chain of events LSU winds up winning the SECCG and then proceeds to win the CFP with two losses on the scorecard this year, there are gonna be a helluva lot of folks screaming, crying, and pointing to it as a reason to expand the CFP to twelve teams. (Then to 16, then to 32, then to 64 with two teams on the bubble that would have to play in...) I am definitely not a fan of expanding the CFP field because, surely, within the top four ranked teams, the best team in the country can be found.

Good luck this weekend against the Orange Horde! (It's good to see them back to being relevant, but - sacre bleu - they're insufferable!)

To me, making a list is the way to go. Not every Tennessee fan has been bad. (Just like not every Georgia fan has been bad) Make a list and rub it in to the ones that were bad, and be gracious to those who were ok. I've seen several UT fans thta havebeen good and more patien than I would have been if I had been in their shoes. They have a right to be proud of their team. They are having a great year.

That said, I wish their good fans nothing but the best and I hope we beat them 55-10. (Not going to happen, but i can hope, can't I?)

If tenn does beat UGA (they won’t) but hypothetically if they did, it would not be nearly as bad as how they beat lsu

That would be awesome, though.

Tennessee is not a championship caliber team.

Ya think? We're a depleted, cobbled together roster of 3* players with a few 4* players sprinkled in there. Everyone keeps forgetting that, except for most Vol fans.

But we are also a VERY COHESIVE unit. A TEAM. A group of guys who trust each other and are playing at a high level, with a lot of swagger and confidence.

We're dangerous.

11-2 would be awesome. Far and above my expectation at season's start.

It would give us a lot of momentum, recruiting wise, going into next year.

Thanks for the encouraging words!

I thought it would be a great game but i can see Georgia being really motivated after some disrespect...now i think georgia brings the vols down to earth.

UGA is ranked #1 in the AP poll, 3rd in the Playoff Poll (despite having the worst strength of schedule in the SEC and among playoff contenders at 75th), and opened 12.5 point favorite. Who's being disrespected?

Tennessee beats Georgia by 12-15 points. Georgia doesn’t stand a chance. Tennessee22 is the LSU19.

I know this place that will give you Tennessee and 8 points for any amount you want to bet. That way your arse can catch up with your mouth

I would take that and be very proud. I am one that thinks Tennessee has a really strong team and deserves the attention they are getting. Any time you have a big time offensive team you can go a long, long way.

If UGA is +2 or more in turnovers, they win by 21+
If UGA is +!, they win by 17-21
If it's even, UGA wins by 10-17
If UGA is -1, UGA wins by 3-10
If UGA is -2, it's a toss up favoring UT slightly. UT by 7 to UGA by 3.
If UGA is -3 or more, UT wins handily

The line is based on an expected -1 in turnover margin for UGA (due to how both teams have played turnover wise this season)
