Not enough talk about this.

That game is one of the most electric atmospheres there is. Had the pleasure of attending the 2018 version and it was a blast.

Oklahoma is turning a corner defensively now that Riley is done poisoning that program. It doesn't get any easier.

If they do this then how will the media pat themselves on the back about how they're deglamorizing gun violence while at the same time continuing to make movies and shows filled with gun violence?

New to the SEC? 11 AM slot used to always be electric.

Colloquially, we either call it OU/Texas or Texas/OU depending on which team you're for. I never hear OU or Texas people call it Red River-anything.

THe networks called it Red River War before changing to Shootout.. that's really more appropriate when Riley's not our coach

It will be the 5th best SEC rivalry game.

1) Iron Bowl
2) WLOCP
3) DSOR
4) Tenn/Vandy
5) Red River Whatever

If the SEC decides to do one permanent opponent per team, it will be interesting to see if Texas' is Oklahoma or Texas A&M. I imagine that there will be a lot of lobbying from Dallas people and the state fair people about making it Oklahoma.

Red River [whichever] has always been too much work to refer to shorthand. In school (and today), we always called it “OU weekend” and I’m pretty sure they just called it “Texas weekend”. Don’t hear “red river” a whole lot

Been to multiple Iron Bowls over the years. I’d give RRS the nod over IB at BDS. (Bama-LSU was better). I would give the IB a slight edge over RRS when it was played in Auburn. Lot of fun.

Objectively, both of those rivalries are behind Army-Navy though. The pride, traditions and pageantry in that game were unrivaled.

You're biased and it's understandable. Maybe it's because I've attended all of these except DSOR.

But RR is exciting as hell.

Lol for the everyone of the few that has the balls to post positive things from the sec about rrs …. Theirs about 10 of you guys showing your jealousy …. Nothing wrong with showing some support for the greatest game in college football. Usually the Aggies are the haters …. Not Bama fans .

We don't give a shite. They are only here due to incompetent leadership.
