I don't know how it isn't weighing horribly on mcelwain's self esteem as a coach.

Why? Mullen has coached Florida for 3 years at this point.

My point is:

mullen succeeded at making florida an elite offense, mcelwain failed.

McElwain accomplished more than Mullen, and more quickly

Was too busy having relations with fish and avoiding assassins to coach offense.

McElwain comes across as a very unlikeable guy but let's give him his due. He fricks sharks. He can weather a little disappointment in the workplace.

I’d respect him a lot more if he fricked sharks while in the water. Out of the water feels wrong.

How many of the current UF stars were recruited by Mac?

Mullen hasn’t succeeded any more than McElwain in terms of winning anything of significance.

Trask and Toney were McElwain recruits. Pitts, Grimes, Copeland, Pierce, Copeland were Mullen.
