How bad are the food/concession prices at the stadiums and arenas this year?

Don't even look, I usually have a hot dog, bag of peanuts and a coke or beer. Is what it is.

Prices need to be better

How is it even possible that LSU serves such subpar food in a state that's renowned for having some of the best food in the world?

I’m not paying $12 for a beer but chic fil and candy a is reasonably priced.

South Carolina concessions at Williams-Brice are terrible. I don't even bother with them. The lines are ridiculous and the prices are even more ridiculous. As far as the basketball arena, they're not great but it's bearable.

I didn’t make it to any of the regular season games, but the prices at Mercedes Benz for the championship were very reasonable. $2 popcorn and $4 Souvenir cup with unlimited refills.

Alleva sold LSU up a river with a long term contract with Aramark. LSU’s concessions are locked into being shite until 2027.

I don’t really attend many games these days living far off but the only concessions I can recall being solid was the Mercedes Dome in Atlanta. Otherwise I remember most SEC venues had pretty terrible options minus maybe Texas in 2019.

I'll just say it's worth your while to tank up on tailgate food beforehand and smuggle in as many flasks as possible.
That said, you've got to expect insane concessions prices for any captive audience event. Sports, concerts and I suppose even redneckery such as tractor pulls etc.

Eat before you go in or sneak in what you want

I mean, isn't this why tailgating was invented?

I bring in a small flask and left overs from tailgate. Last game was 6 mini muffalettas. I love the look on people's faces when I pull that food out.

Sat in section 103 10th row, lsu-OK, the food at the entrance to 103 was the worst I have ever had at any stadium in my life. I’ve been to a lot of games and it was by far the worst food and service anywhere.

UKs concessions suck and are overpriced Aramark crap. Like everyone else, fill up at your tailgate when you come to Lexington.
