Gotta give LSU credit, they've been putting out these weekly updates for all Tiger Stadium (and other facility) projects over the last three years. Really makes it easy to follow the progress.

I guess I have a little more faith in our alumni base.
I definitely do not.
Seats that were purchased by some of our ticket holders for a lifetime in return for major donations were taken away from them after the expansion and in return they were offered the opportunity to purchase season tickets in seats of lesser quality. We brazenly reneged on a deal we made with those people for a considerable sum of money. That's pretty DAMN low. And no, I am not one of, related to, or friends with any of those people, I just think it's a shitty thing to have done and I am embarrassed by it. Their seats not physically being there anymore is a crap excuse when the person making it is the one responsible for tearing those seats out. They should have been given seats with an equivalent view and not asked to purchase them again.
I say all that to show that the 12th Man Foundation is a corrupt organization without honor. I fully expect them to move the student section to the south end zone.

Not all endowed seat owners were mad, I personally spoke to a few that felt the deal the TMF offered was "very fair". They allowed generous allowances of credit to select new seats and I believe they even offered to return the entire amount given by the donors.

Just a quick update on the progress on the updated locker rooms at Tiger Stadium. Both the home and visitor's locker rooms are being renovated for 2014:

Here is a pic that shows the 3 concourses. You can see the see how big it gets on the frist level.
Man I'm jealous. Here's a pic of top concourse at Tiger Stadium for comparison's sake:
The good news is, LSU is planning on updating the concourses, maybe as soon 2015. The delay is partially explained by the need to abate the asbestos in the old dorm rooms.

With the new 210 Million Tier III media deal seems pretty sure UK is about to get new baseball stadium

Meh, not so jealous really. The TS upper decks are built almost straight up so you never feel like you're out of the atmosphere. The top 50 rows of that endzone in Kyle Field might as well be in a hot air balloon a mile away.

UK seems to like shrubberies.

Well hedge flinging has been a popular pastime in UK's past.
Maybe they are descendants of the group of Knights.

Those may be just smaller than the old ones at Kyle. The Zone (upper deck) will have the smallest @ Kyle now and look similar to your pics posted.

Not so much the size, but the look that needs upgrading. I'm hoping the AD can get the concourse renovations on track for 2016.

Cats have quietly been preparing since first realignment discussions in 2009
2017 new or refitted basketball arena
2016 new baseball stadium?
2015 football upgrades complete
2014 new soccer complex
2013 new softball complex
2012 new Track & Field complex
What is impressive is that UK is building or upgrading all aspects of their sports and not just focusing on just 1 or 2 sports. The big question will be if they add equestrian (W) and ice hockey (M) after 2016?
