Amazingly similar. UK probably took cues from UGA's set-up. Best practices and all that.

Not to mention O&G is huge in south LA, too.
And north Louisiana. I've fraced plenty of wells around there.

I really don't want this to come across as assholey, but I think I can say confidently that our football facilities are more pushing best in the country, not just the conference
No and no.

Have you seen what Oregon has? And I'll still put Alabama's football facilities up against anyone.

I've been trying to keep up with this thread because I find facility construction interesting. I need a clarification from an Aggie on their stadium.
In the pic below, did I read correctly that the entire east side of Kyle Field (the old stands in the right of the pic) will be torn down after the 2014-15 season and rebuilt? Can that be done before 2015-16 begins?
That looks like a monstrous part of the stadium, about 40,000 seats I'd think. Is it unstable in the long term or does A&M just want to modernize its insides?

Newer isn't necessarily nicer. They look awfully similar. Texas A&M just had further to go to get up to standard.

I never said nicer. I said they were on par with Oregon's

That is the west side, but yes, that entire side will be demolished and rebuilt after this season.

I see nothing Oregon or Alabama don't already offer, except that new smell. All are very similar with a few different twists.

So I guess the army of construction workers and their equipment will get it done like they've performed since last Fall. It's simply amazing what's happening to Kyle Field.
