What makes that on field seating? I thought the field started after the fence.

its at field level. i dont have issue when a couple of rows of seats at field level (although i'd never sit there). But to make suites at field level just seems dumb.
But i guess if someone is dumb enough to buy them more power to you. Really it's the people who actually buy these suites whose sanity should be questioned.

The field level seats behind the end zones aren't so bad...
...but I'd agree about the sideline seats. I think those are just for recruits, and maybe their families.

The seats are the first 10 to 13 rows. The entrance to the field level suite would be down near the field with concessions and couches and such under the stadium.... but the seats are in the stands.

A&M's project is impressive. Probably the most impressive expansion/renovation I've ever seen on an existing stadium. Would this have happened absent the move to the SEC?

I think he was making a joke referring to our new loge seating and what y'all are putting at field level.

Yes, but probably not quite to this scale.

yes but not as big. East and West sides needed to be renovated regardless, they were old and in bad shape in some parts. To change anything we would have had to reduce seating due to fire codes I believe, which is why we didn't touch the 2nd and 3rd east decks for the students.

Nope. Donors stepped up big time. With all athletic facilities. Not just football.

Note the fence on the east side upper deck concourse.

New Training, living, studying facility for Football team coming 2016. Just heard it from Athletic Director Mitch Barnhart on KSR.
Looks to be in the same style with the Limestone as the stadiums new face lift.

It does look more lush than normal in that picture.

so is that new press box at kyle supposed to be ready by the start of the season? looks like they haven't even really started on it. if not, where will it be this year?

That isn't the press box. That is the canopy over the student section. Press box is on the other side and will be done in the next phase after the season.
