All 3 choked, especially SC. They couldn't handle the ball or the press at all in the last few minutes.

friend of my dad’s once told me he never watched a college bball game until the final minute

he said if the game wasnt close he didn’t miss anything worth watching, and if it was close he could see all the action that mattered

he’d have had a blast last night

Leading for 39:59 doesn't mean shite really.

The same could be said for any sport if you think about it.

For football, it's the last quarter.

For baseball, it's probably the 7th or 8th inning on.

3rd period in hockey.

true, but every one of those sports still involve a significant percentage of the game - 1/4 for football, 2/9 in baseball (if you start in the 8th inning) and 1/3 in hockey

the final minute of a basketball game comprises only 1/40 of regulation play

You would miss out some of the greatest performances in sports history doing that

Stat is technically wrong. Those games were tied for multiple minutes combined
