Serious question: did that broad's fiance (iirc) whip Bobby's arse or did he sustain those injuries on his bike?

Ever seen two people have a motorcycle accident and one rider looks like they went skydiving and their parachute didn't open while the other rider doesn't have a scratch on their entire body ?

This should answer your question

Bert has strung out the longest "is next year when he pulls it all together?" ever.

Hilarious coming from a guy calling for Gus' job earlier this year.
Hilarious considering I've never denied the following and you continuously bring it up.

AND he's still a better coach than Bret Bielema.

Bielema would be winning the West if he had Auburn's roster, Gus is badly underperforming.

Didn't Bret Bielema recruit his whole roster?

Now how it all ended really sucked and you would be stupid to put all the blame on Nutt

i agree with that but i was still glad to see him go. i will probably feel the same about bert when he rides off into the sunset.

If I'm Arkansas you don't get rid of bert.

Nutt is just hoping he's right. Large buyout says otherwise! Bret will survive next year unless we implode! Needs to have a winning year, SECW is tough to navigate for most coaches!

And there it is, the good ole forum tactic of ignoring facts by claiming a poster is a close friend etc. That's so 10 years ago, grow up.

BTW I'm not saying that I'm a Nutt fanboy, he did plenty to seal his fate, but let's not frame him as the Antichrist because of how it ended. The reality is he gave Razorback football exactly what it needed at the time and we have moved on from there.

Yep, Nutt likes to take his shots and then reminisce about Dmac and the boys.

We aren't.

It took Spurrier 6 years to get things going at SC. Art Briles started off awful at Baylor.

Sometimes you just have to be patient, it's a rare these days.

Bert does things the right way and that takes a lot longer.

Of course he did but I don't think anyone would disagree that Auburn gets more talent than Arkansas.

There are exactly 3 people responsible for the length of Nutt's tenure at Arkansas:

1. Matt Jones
2. Darren McFadden
3. Mitch Mustain (ironically also caused Nutt's termination)

Matt and Darren were freaks of nature and Mitch came and brought his bros with him along with Gus. If those kids had walked and Nutt didn't hire Gus, he'd have been done.

Yes, he is wrong. Only person that can put Brett on the hot seat is Jeff Long and he isn't doing that both because of the buyout and because winning just isn't that important to him.

Do I like Brett? Yeah, he seems like a down to earth guy. Am I satisfied with Brett as coach? No, not after this season. I did not see progress or feel that we are set up for it in the future.

Jeff Long will have to go before we can get rid of Brett.

Petrino is scum, but a dang good football coach and would continued to have had a decent amount of success at Arkansas.

Nutt is scum and doesn't even do his dirty work himself. Also the success he had at Ark came with the best instate talents we have had probably ever, when the rest of the West was down and no where near the level it is at now. Even the success he had was an underachievement considering some of the athlete's he had.

He is 1-1 against UF and I didn't know we were your new Super Bowl. I guess your Super Bowl is what ever team you can actually beat .

Nutt brought stability to that program ... Never understood why Arkansas fans aren't more gracious.
