Arkansas had ten more quad one wins and beat state head to head and was ahead of state in the SEC standings.

Committee must really have valued RPI. That's all it could be.

Sec committee rep is a state alum.

Ole Miss should be hosting then.

They won’t put 3 host sites in one state. Plus we went 0-5 against State and USM this year. Our team doesn’t deserve a host.

That being said, we do better in the tournament when we are on the road for whatever reason

Bodes well for us as we’re currently third.

We’ll probably get some team like Coastal Carolina and we’ll be sweating like always…

It was clearly obvious that ark had to win the tournament to be selected as a host site unless others in consideration had very poor showings in their conference tournament.

This is clear in retrospect now, to me at least.

Many have said that the committee rarely values results in conference tournaments too much.

We played them twice. I think they won 2-1 or something like that in Hattiesburg?

And then I was in the stands in Pearl a few weeks later when we run ruled them. Maybe 12-1 or some such score.

The only downside to playing in Hattiesburg is their high school stadium will be impossible to get a ticket. They would move that game to Shuckers park in Biloxi if they had any balls. But they won't.

There will be a new champion this year. As of now, the champions are still LSU.

I am gutted for Arkansas but they’re gonna wreck someone’s shite as a two seed.

I think they'll end up getting a slightly better path to Omaha.

I know you want to host but they would have likely had Oregon St at home then UCLA in Los Angeles. That's a tough draw. Now they will likely go through Lawrence, Kansas and Chapell Hill. I would pick option 2 in their shoes and let Miss St have option 1.

We played them twice. And we run ruled them once.
