Cincy is a terrible franchise. Aging AJ Green is their only WR. Of course, I don't even know who the Panthers have at WR. Their lone attempt at a decent one after Steve Smith left was Kelvin big boy Benjamin....

QBs need someone to get open and catch it besides a TE.

Shite Trent Dilfer took a team to a Super Bowl. That does not impress me, Cam shite the bed when he was in that game. Von Miller made Cam his bitch.

1 Joe Burrow* 60 2019 LSU
2 Colt Brennan* 58 2006 Hawaii
3 David Klingler 54 1990 Houston
4 B.J. Symons* 52 2003 Texas Tech

All ran offensive systems installed by coaches with NFL experience. 2-4 were all failures in the NFL. I am sure Burrow being the next great one is an absolute guarantee though.

For the record, Burrow is different from all those guys, different in many ways.

True. He transferred out of a school where he knew he'd never start.

The obsession with comparing Cam and Burrow is odd. Totally different players, both great in their own way.

Burrow better hope his teams spends more money on the OL than Cam's team did.

To be fair they tried to get him a WR, but he was a bust.

They eventually got him a RB but Cam was beat to hell already.

The OC thing...IMO most innovative OC's don't want to work with Ron.

The NFL team I really feel sorry for is the one that has to draft Tua

Tua will be a great QB that has trouble staying healthy, he could go to Carolina.

If Cam Newton is so much better than Joe Burrow in the eyes of the Cincinnati Bengals staff, should not be too hard for Carolina to make a trade.

Not sure if ignorant or just plain stupid to compare an aged Cam to a young Burrow.

It's dishonest at the very least...and he knows that.

The other three all played in crappy conferences with no teams that played good defense.

Whoever lands Cam in a trade will have to be willing to resign him to a contract extension because I’m sure he has a trade agreement in his contract. Which means the team has the cap money for three to four years. It is easier for a team like the Bengals to draft Burrow and if he busts than move on after his first contract. Burrow is a cheap choice. He might even sell some tickets the first year.

BS, Cam took 5 years off his own life.

BS, that OL took 5 years off his NFL life. They were the worse OL in the NFL and the Panthers did not draft to improve it or one of the worse WR corp in the NFL. They drafted Benjamin and he was a bust from day one. They let Smith go to free agency when he was the only real threat. They built around their Defense because Rivera believed in D first.
