To assert that I’m stupid for that assumption means that you are stupid. O had been a fired head coach twice. I know the LSU faithful will say only once, but what happend at USC was in essence him being told he wasn’t capable of doing the job. Pittman is one of the best recruiters and best o-line coaches.

He cheated them almost to the Death Penalty.

The only way to truly be able to tell is let Ole Miss hire Pittman for 3 years and see where it goes.
Luckily for us we are above that shite now

Has he been a head coach before ?

USC didn't fire him and he had them playing their asses off.

That doesn't matter man. Orgeron is coaching at LSU and has much more resources to succeed than this guy does at Arkansas. Orgeron was also proven as a head coach from his time as interim at USC and LSU prior to getting hired full time. this guy doesn't even have head coaching experience that I know of. I just don't know what Arkansas was thinks it with this hire. Orgeron has always been known as a big-time recruiter as well. Orgeron was definitely a better hire then this guy. I would be disappointed as an Arkansas fan for sure. Who the hell is this dude? Lol.

Who the feck is Pittman?

Ikr? I have seriously never even heard of him. Wow. This is maybe the worst hire that I can remember in the sec in a long time. I don't even think he's ever been a head coach before. He definitely doesn't have the reputation as nobody had ever heard of him prior to this and he wasn't even on the market for any other teams to be a head cosching option. This just has disaster written all over it. Holy shite Arkansas.

The argument for O is that he had just come off 2 very successful interim stints at big time programs.
The argument for Pittman is that he never got a chance to fail
Miserably.
That being said LSU is in a better position to succeed making this kind of hire.
Neither is bringing the Xs and Os to the table. But LSU already had aranda. They aren’t building a program from
The ground up.
Hiring Pittman at Arkansas is more like hiring O at Ole Miss.

If you mean Orgeron at Ole Miss, then Pittman for sure. By the time LSU hired him, he had gone 6–2 two times in a row as an interim and looked like a completely different coach. I suspected that Orgeron would be at least as good as Miles had been. Plus, places like LSU, Georgia, and Florida State can hire a first-timer and expect different results because of their built-in recruiting cushion. Arkansas and Ole Miss don't have that luxury, so we're a bit more of a gamble. A place like Tennessee is right in the middle when they hire a guy like Pruitt.
