He was very mediocre prior to Tajh’s arrival, I don’t think it’s safe to assume things would’ve played out the same

Dabo has proven himself year after year that he is able to get the best out of kids and develop them.

idk about that. He averaged just about 4 losses per year his career at clemson until Deshaun started dominating. Not saying he DOESN'T get a lot out of his guys, but people have this vision of "Dabo Swinney" as being the last 3/4 year version while completely ignoring everythign prior to that. Even in 2014, the year that deshaun started taking over halfway through the season, they still lost 3 games.

Not going to argue with you about the situation at Georgia being easier. No doubt about that

Right now, Tennessee just needs CJP to get them to mediocre in SEC terms. Win 7-8 games next year and win a damn bowl game and he can build from there. Actually be competitive in the big SEC games, winning a few and the fans will get behind him.

This has been said every year for the past 12 years.Sad that a program has fallen so far that a 7 win season would be considered good.

Watson barely played in the Georgia game and he left early against GT.

You're reinforcing my point. Prior to the best player they've had in their history getting all the minutes dabo has been nothing all that noteworthy. 15 and 16 was the deshaun show. 17 when he left they truly weren't that great and lost to Syracuse somehow and didn't even belong on the same field as bama in that beating. Then as luck would have it they bring another elite qb and go undefeated.

Just saying that it's not like he somehow figured out a different coaching style or something the last 4 seasons, he's just had transcendent talent at the QB position and plays in the ACC

All I know is you didn’t wanna see Tennessee in the Jefferson Pilot game of the week.

So basically, any program outside of Bama under Saban.
