Yes. We had like 5 or 6 4* QBs at one time iirc.

Struggled this year only throwing 17 and he's not going to see any defenses as bad as who he played in C-USA outside of Arkansas' defense at practice.

19, but yeah he definitely missed having Courtland Sutton and Trey Quinn to throw to. He had a higher QBR than Storey though and took care of the ball better. Plus knows the offense. Not overwhelmed but could do worse I suppose.

I hate to break it to them but he's not good.

Well, he's certainly better than anything Arkansas currently has and more fit for Chad's system. He might be able to double the Hogs win total next year ...

That’s a big land for Morris.

Of all teams, you’d think a State fan would understand that a QB can struggle in a new system.

Arkansas hasn't been good so if he's mediocre at quarterback, that will be a step up.

So if I got this right, Hogs just signed Jerry Jones grandson. And they have the coach's son committed for the next cycle? That's not going to blow up or anything ...
Fireworks coming soon to the Hogs locker room.

Arkansas is entering year 7 of a rebuild.

He hasn't committed yet. We're probably going to take him and one more QB for 2020, 4* QB Shane Illingsworth has visited twice already so he seems to like us. I think John Stephen Jones will be 3rd string for a few years and then transfer to somewhere like Stephen F. Austin.

Well his head coach and OC were at Arkansas.
Hicks is SMU’s all time leading passer.

You are talking about the grandson of Jerry Jones. His grandfather is going to insist he play in some manner

I'm well aware but I guess you probably don't even know how his recruitment went down and how he ended up at Arkansas.

Actually I do - read the newspaper articles. First kid offered by Chad when he got to Arkansas. I'll be surprised if he doesn't end up passing the 4* QB Nolan for that reason alone
Maybe Morris JR goes elsewhere, and the whole potential nastiness is avoided
