Do y'all have an unusually high number of alum that end up working in construction permitting?

List seems about right. Obviously Kyle will vault to the number one spot in two years, but until now 4 is about where we should be.

Nice list. Sanford getting some well-deserved love. Maybe they held aesthetics in high regard because I will be the first to admit, while it can get very very loud, loudness isn't our strong suit.

Probably move Bama up over Tenn to 3 and then switch A&M and UT. Then switch Arky and AU

Amazing how Athlon's pre-season football rankings can be so off, yet their stadium rankings are spot on.

Does it really matter what kind of stadium you have if you can't beat your opponent for almost 30 years in your own house?

Kyle Field is currently the oldest venue in the conference and averaged one of the highest attendance percentiles in the nation (105.3% capacity) a year ago.

Elbow room is something they should've considered in the design of the stadium.

If you go back just three years however... you get an average attendance of 76,800. The last two seasons (the goodbye tour to the BigXII and the bright, shiny new league years) have been big, but those are the only two where you are averaging that much over capacity. It, like your on-field performance, was a flash in the pan... not a sustained demand that would make sense to add that many extra seats. You guys are a couple mediocre seasons away from a 30,000 plus empty seat eye sore.

Unless you've ever read anything I've ever written. Or heard any radio show I've ever done. I'll just keep picking Bama to win everything. I was PAWWWL's co-worker on SXM.

And the criteria was listed clearly in the intro graph to those complaining about it. BDS is awesome at everything and has no weaknesses but it isn't THE BEST at any one thing.

Additionally, fifth in the SEC will likely be Top 10 nationally.

Thanks for reading everyone.

So, are you just trying to troll Bama fans with your Twitter post? "Teehee, Bama fans R gunna h8 me 4 dis LINK." Gross. I know that people have to get hits any way they can, but doesn't think sort of thing make you the least bit ashamed?

Honestly, have you ever been to Neyland? It is the most unpleasant place to watch a football game I've ever been. I'd rather be in an airplane in coach.

I don't think the writer has been to these venues. Kyle might be decent after the renovations. but it falls short of its ranking right now. There is also no good place to see Arky play a home game.

This is an interesting plot twist. Never seen a "journalist" so insecure as to find people talking about him on a message board and then come out and defend himself

Interesting year to choose - why don't you go back one more year where average attendance was 82k+.

Fact is over the last 13 years, average attendance has been hovering around 82k. That puts us at ~100% capacity for more than a decade.

Exactly... in 2008 you went 4-8, with 82k in the stands... so the following year your attendance dropped. So in 2015 if you go 4-8 you're going to have 30k empty seats in 2016. Thanks for proving my point?

Can Ole Miss figure out a way to move The Grove inside Vaught-Hemingway? The world’s greatest pre-game tailgate takes place just a few yards away from the comparably small, but no less enjoyable, stadium. So while the third-oldest venue ( ) in the SEC hasn’t been all that daunting to opposing teams over the years, it does house what may be the most beautiful fan base in the nation. Everyone should attend at least one tailgate in Oxford, Miss.

Tiger Stadium is the best, but Alabama holds a 25-9-2 record there.

Yeah, I think Alabama has the most wins of any visiting team in Tiger Stadium

Curiously, I believe LSU has more wins in BDS than any team not named Alabama.
