Vandy also has academics, which does matter for some recruits.

1) True

2) You have no clue what you're talking about

3) Yeah, recruits usually rave about Oxford. Next.

4) A lot of our recruits are from MS. Oxford is a bit of an exception of a MS town. And by a bit, I mean completely different.

5) True

6) Not even remotely true.

7) A lot of recruits like small, unique college towns. Ole Miss usually ranks second to Athens in the SEC in this category

Hahahaha. Unless Nutt just says, "Give me my $6M, I don't care anymore" it's going to be close.

We are extremely young and our only flaw is we have a bunch of idiots running our team. We have a lot of young talent.

3) Your school is in Oxford

Yeah Oxford is known for being a terrible town.

4) Oxford is in Mississippi

And Tuscaloosa is in Alabama.

5) Vanderbilt has potential

They have one hell of a good coach. Other than that no they don't.

6) Vanderbilt has better athletes

No.
Again they are a lot better coached than our players are though.

7) Vandy is in Nashville

Doesn't matter. They won't be able to get elite athletes because of their academic requirements.

You can't really compare Nashville, Baton Rouge, Lexington, and Knoxville to the towns. Different animals.

Oxford may or may not be the second best town, but overall it is not second.

Seriously, what kind of retort is this.

Alabama>>>>>>>>>>>Mississippi.

I can't think of a state even close to being as shitty as Mississippi.

West Virginia could challenge them, but other than that it's not really close.

Ole Miss is better job with more potential, but if he keeps this up he will get better offers than Ole Miss.

Nashville is the tits though.

Exactly. How'd DiNardo turn out for LSU? People fall all over themselves to praise any Vanderbilt coach that wins four or five games in a season. It's funny to watch. Franklin's no better than DiNardo or Bobby Johnson. That's why he's at Vanderbilt.

Sustained success at Vandy for 3 or 4 years is incredibly hard, but I agree 1 year good at Vandy doesn't show as much as people think.

Resources aside, Vandy athletics are in much better shape than Ole Miss right now. He does seem to have a nice recruiting class coming, too

The more I see of Franklin, the more I think that he's Ray Nagin imitating Will Muschamp.
