1-1 against the greatest big game quarterback of them all. #super9

Was the key in the title game vs LSU.

Rallied to beat LSU at night in Death Valley.

Stumbled against A&M. His one failure since he became a "born again" QB, as in after the GotC when Saban told him to be himself.

Made the go ahead TD in Atlanta.

Carved up an unbeaten Notre Dame team in the BCSCG.

Beat Johnny Football in a shootout.

Did I say LSU won? Pretty fricking ironic considering all the belly aching after the game in 2011. Didn't hear much of Alabama fans stating "Well, we still lost."

It's the key to success. Always blame yourself so you can get better. Saban's said this plenty of times. People bitch and moan about it, but it's why Bama has been so successful.

Couldn't be better than .500 against super9. Tis a shame. You would like to think he is great, but he just couldn't dominate his peer.

He didn't play shitty, but he wasn't that good. He was probably slightly above average compared to what other backs were doing. He just didn't run all over Bama like some of you seem to think.

Considering the defense he was playing against, he played a very solid/good game. If LSU would have allowed Bama defense to make them one dimensional, that would have played to Bamas hand. The fact that he was able to keep balance helped LSU keep Bama on their heels defensively majority of the game.

Game of his life. 1 TD in a home loss with the ball in his hand to win it.

So let me get this straight:

Last year Hill shredded our defense. Mett raped our secondary. LSU only scored 17 points?

Mett: burning secondaries between the 20s since 2012

No doubt he played good enough to make us guess run or pass, but he didn't light anything on fire.

Oh, and Bama is getting MORE yards per carry this year than last year. Good luck.

I'm sure we're giving up more as well

And exactly what did that get you?

Did I every said he shredded your defense?
He was a freshman and gained 100+ yards on the best defense on the land to say that isn't impressive is being borderline just ignorant c'mon I know we didn't win the game but to say that doesn't haunt him or make him hungry is dumb. You know?

FWIW, I've never seen any LSU fan say something like Hill shredded Alabama's defense.

If the Alabama guys in here who are claiming this can link it, I will gladly eat crow.

LSU will have to do better than 2.8 per rush. That won't beat Bama.

3.69 by Hill.. it was good enough last season. Blown assignments on the final drive.. by our defense.

If we pass 35+ times like last season, we probably lose again. We're gonna have to run even if it's only for 3.5 ypc
